Mykines Knit Sweater

Mykines is inspired by the fishermen from Mykines and their classic fisherman sweaters. The pattern consists of simple structures in knit and purl - moss stitch and broken rib in wide stripes. The sweater is knit in our delicate Highland yarn, which is 100% Peruvian wool. The sweater is knit top-down to make you get the right length.

About the style

The Mykines Sweater is worked in our Highland yarn (100% Peruvian wool).

The sweater is knit using circular needles size 4,5 mm (80 cm) as well as 5,5 mm (40 cm and 80 cm). Remember to order the circular needles, as they are not included in the kit.

We always recommend doing a gauge swatch before commencing your project, to get the right tension and thereby the right fit.

The technique is moss stitch and broken rib knit with one thread of Highland yarn. As a small challenge, the sweater is cast on with Italian cast in, to create a more sophisticated look. The sweater is knit from top-down.

The style is available in four sizes and ten color combinations.
